One of my mom's friends has icelandic sheep. She gave me a bag of wool to spin last month. I am going to spin it into yarn, using a drop spindle that I didn't actually make myself but could if I wanted to, and make something useful out of it.
I will be unspeakably proud of myself when I am done with this project. My archdruid talks this week about technological triage and this is one of those technologies that will always be useful.
